We think about these future features:

  1. Validation of the XHTML source.
  2. Improvements for the editor like page breaks, <img /> auto correction, syntax highlighting, ...
  3. Menu "Edit" for use with HTML content and chapter/index lists.
  4. Webserver or upload features for easy transfer of epubs to readers.
  5. RTF support when inserting text / copy & paste from a word processor.
  6. Management of embedded pictures (list, size adjust, delete, used where, greyscale ...)
  7. Single page import
  8. Config dialog for simple plugin filters (generic filter, plugin by config)
  9. Multi document interface for many epubs at one time.
  10. Support for fallbacks (PDF pages in the ebook, etc.) and nested navpoints (multi-level indexes)
